Waitaiki and Poutini
More than 100 years ago Waitaiki came out and had a bath in the river but Poutini could swim faster than Waitaiki so he caught her. But luckly Tamaahua remembered that he had the magic stick that would show where she was in the morning. I think that he is nice, Poutini is being nice because he lit a fire for Waitaiki because she is cold but he was trying to trick her and turned her into Pounamu.By Jessie
