Poutini and Waitaiki
About 10,000 years ago at Tuhua their lived Tamaahua and Waitaiki. From the seas there lived a fierce taniwha called Poutini. Waitaiki was bathing in the river, she didn't see Poutini he was hiding behind a rock, he jumped out and grabbed her and they went far far away to Piopiotahi.By Sam
