Poutini and Waitaiki
In the olden days Poutini stole Waitaiki because she was beautiful. Poutini turned her into greenstone so no one could have her. Tamaahua was trying to get waitaiki back from Poutini. She has a morning swim. Tamaahua and Waitaiki thay lived on a Island called Tuhua. Poutini was only scared of one thing, Whatipu. He didn't like Whatipu chasing him. Tamaahua named that mountain Tuhua so Waitaiki would remember her home.By Aaron
